I have been doing a water ceremony here in the middle east, I have a small song which I sing and "go to water" by splashing my face. I do this 4 times a day...
I am washing my spirit.
I have very little here in the middle east in ceremonial ways, this keeps me in touch....
What are your ceremonies?
Jim

I have very little here in the middle east in ceremonial ways, this keeps me in touch.... What are your ceremonies? Jim Oh, I like to get in my computer room, of course it is cold and snow outside now. I will place a special stone on the floor, at each of the 4 winds. I will sit with an imitation Eagle feather, one that came from a NA supply co (Crazy Crow). Sitting in the center on the floor, will have a clear quartz crystal placed on top of a piece of red lava rock from Arizona. Since my room is small with the door shut, I will offer some tobacco without burning it. After all, some older true pipe ceremonies during the loading prayer, a pinch of tobacco was sprinkled on the ground also, each loading step of the way. So, a pinch got offered at each of the 4 directions, to Mother Earth in the center and to Father Sky. Traditionally though, smoke risinng symbolic of our prayers going up. I will use a container to hold the tobacco, don't recommend anyone to sprinkle it on the carpet. Holding the feather, I will pray to the Great Spirit, seek help from ancestral spirits. When a vision comes to me, usually keep it to myyself.....but have mentioned things important to NAs at times.
