Yes im looking for the tribe (obviously needing to know which one) I belong to. My father's parents were both said to be Cherokee. Not sure which one exactly. My fathers paternal side is Roberts. Edward S Roberts of NC but passed in KY. His father was Roy Roberts. On my fathers mother side...I have all the families names married to the Clark's. Names like my great grand parents John Henry Clark b. 5-23-1880 m.Lelia Tyree. His parents John Calvin Clark b. 1-16-1856 m. Missouri Patterson 7-18-1880 and hus oarents Preston Harrison Clark b 10-1821 m. Susan Virginia Clark 4-10-1855. Whose parents were Nelson H Clark b between 1789-1794 m. Edy Wane 7-6-1819.

I tried a final roles search for most of those names, so far only one can't be found. The Dawes search gives the role card # for each, John and Susan come up a couple times.

The requirement would be to have one person you are related to by blood, such as a parent or grandfather/grandmother listed on the final roles. Then you would need to get all the documents to prove it, listed on Cherokee Nation OK website required for citizenship. Check the CNO site for guidelines under application for citizenship.
