Hello I live in UK England and I am just about to caver three Native American Indians and I have seen many styles of regalia in the tribes. I would ask for help on feather work and the tails I am trying to find tiny bead work for my puppets. My puppets will be 85 tall 33 inc I build them and go to hospitals to help take mind of the treatments for children. I do take pride in my skills and want to dress them right and pay respects. I want them in the right wear. It is safe to say all I have ever seen of NAI is in a John Wynn film so I want so understand please of the regalia and I am looking for small feathers to make the head dress. Please I welcome a email contact with someone that can share photos of what is ahead Thank you Graham

Thank you so much, I have been watching lots of you tube to give me thoughts can anyone show me how the tail feather attach to the back please. Please May I ask also I see today all the bright Regalia is this a modern think or is this always been so ?
Can anyone please tell me of the breast chest cover and do the bead work mean things ? I know the feathers do. I am on Skype and welcome someone that can guide me I do not want to dress my 90 tall marionettes/puppets in a way to be disrespectful. I take pride in my wood carving and want them to look right so when children ask me I can help with questions.
I see the flute played and pan pipes flute yes but is pan pipes and NAI thing ? I am mixed up ref pan pipes ? Drum yes flute yes but pan pipes ? And what are the shacking shells or nuts ?
What we was told in the TV films ref NAI you all wear skins and bear chests sometimes a jacket and a feather in your hair. I know this not to be true what the films show so I want to learn the truth about the NAI. I want my three figures to look right in the style I will dress them. I wish to meet someone on Skype that may cam with me so I may show them as I build the head dress in small scale and the regalia. The main think I do not wish to do things blind and hope to do a good job.
Thank you for your help and time.

Nice to share with you. This is irrelevant to your request but I was happy to sit through this entire Video and watch an awesome cultural and a very beautiful People. I liked the part toward the end where the guy says that they are like birds they meet at the PowWows and fly away home. They are truly Blessed
