We have to keep in mind that some familys depend on the meat that comes from the deer and that the deer were put herre by the creator so that those who wish to use it can do so. We eat the meat and also use the hides for making different things on our dance out fits, just thought id share that

Yep, I agreed that. I like to eat Deer meat, taste good! My neighborhood who live across street, Bill told me he can take me to Deer hunting by this winter for food. Also, I'll keep the horns, hides and hoofs for my crafts, spirit staff and other NDN stuff too. I checked that video link have been changed.

The antlers make pretty buttons as well for pouches and such

Yep, that's a good idea. I have one Antler (round and flat shape) carved Eagle side face, like a coin that looks really nice. I made a necklace with one roll bonechoker with mixed stone color that look like red and round beads, it's one foot long necklace. I'll take a picture of it for you to look at my necklace work very soon.
