I was encouraged to share this with you all, so I hope you get something out of it by my sharing...
This morning I was praying the sun up... it was a cool, dark, foggy morning and as I walked to my stand of four trees situated between a pond and a river, I realized how bright the full moon was at my back. The light reflecting off the moon danced in the fog and eliminated the darkness in a way I had only seen the sun be able to do as it rises in the East. It was very comforting since the greenway is normally pitch black. I turned and smiled at the moon and thanked him for his soft guidance.
As I sat there facing the East praying and crying out to the Great Mystery because of the many things on my heart, I was suddenly aware of an interesting phenomenon ocurring all around me. I was engulfed in the light and energy of both the sun to my front, in the East, and the moon to my back, in the West. When I felt this energy and life giving force, I smiled. I could not shed another tear. I was surrounded by my Creator and his love and knew I would be okay and that prayers would be answered, pain would disapate, old wounds would heal.
I have never experienced such beauty before and I share it with you to encourage you to open yourself up to the only kind of beauty that comforts the soul. We are not alone.

chuck: I have studied the word A'HO and have read in studies that various tribes use this word as greeting, thank you, or ending in prayer. However in further study I read that this is not true and that this word is not real or used. Any thoughts?
