Hi My names Brocc, which is old English for Badger, and as you might guess I live in England, well Sussex to be precise, which is south of London on the southern Coast. I'm part English, with a very Anglo Saxon heritage on one side (not the American W.A.S.P type of Anglo-Saxon) and Cherokee on the other. To cut a Long story short, my grandmother on my mothers side had a little fun during the WW2 with a GI begetting my mother before he returned to America. Anyway as usual with one of those complicated family twists, we never knew who he was, so he was impossible to trace. It was my aunts in America who found details of my mothers birth when he passed away and it was them that tracked her down, at which point we find out my Grandfather was half Cherokee ;D So find myself yearning to learn more about the Cherokee nation, I love history, so to set expectations here, my starting point is one of complete ignorance for want of a better word and any help or help pointing me in the right direction where I can find some more information, and learn a little more about the Cherokee nation would be wonderful. Thank you in advance. Kind regards Brocc
