Looking forward to get to know YOU, I think I better 'warn' you first ;D I am German - maybe you will see me make some (bad) mistakes in here...because of my poor English. I don't understand much slang...But I want you to know that I am a very friendly person. If I happen to be misunderstood, please forgive me. I will do my very best to learn as quickly as possible I am 39 years old, still married- but separate, two daughters 14, 13 and one son 8. I love my children. My 'hubby' is still a good friend and a wonderful father to our children. Because we both love our kids so much and don't want to lose our house, we are not yet divorced. I have been working as a professional fitness instructor since 1985. I am licensed to several things as there are weight lifting, classes, PT, balanced diet coach, Zilgrei therapist, Reiki, ... luv my job! indian-heart-beat...why this name?Last year my father was very very ill. He told me that his Grandmother was a Native from Gallup. Maleelia. He told me I reminded him of her. He told me that he knew I was always different from my brother and my sisters...and my ' heart beats Indian' somehow. I was totally confused, couldn't believe this until I received a copied picture of Her from an aunt. Why hiding Her? Because of the German past. Fear. And a bit later I found out that it is said there way a Diné among my Mother's side. But there is no proof for it. I looked and searched every night to find out something about my ancestry. All I found was that my cousin tried it as well lol. Half a year later I went to the Netherlands to see the First Nations Dance Company. It impressed me so much... I was able to FEEL what they danced. My heartbeat had the same rhythm as the drum. I felt ...cannot explain...familiar, warm, redeemed, moved to tears. One of the dancers invited me to another site where I got to know his friend, a moderator. He is a good friend. I went to the GON, my first pow wow! I was with his family all day long and learned a bit about 'my' culture. My knowledge is so tiny! I want to know more...so...I will not post very often, but read a lot. Again, I am looking forward to get to know you! Have a great day!

Hello, thanks for about yourself and welcome to the boards! My English is fair, I can't read high grade level or used abbreviates but I'm learning how to used abbreviates, it's simple way in the Chat Room. My best friend name is Tony Anthony Hollis, he's from Austria but he's full-blooded German. Tony met me outside of my house first time in 1976, we grew up together for many years but he got married and have 2 children and moved in North Texas City, TX by Bayou. I haven't seen him for a long time, we knows that we are kinda very busy to do and we don't have any problems. Someday I'll find him and visit for while.

Guten Abend Indian Heart Beat, When I was in the military (Army) years ago, I was stationed in Illesheim for 2 years. I loved Germany, but the Army decided to send my back to the states to serve out my final year of duty. I haven't been back since, but I sure do miss it. One day, I'll go back. Welcome to the forum. Tok'sa

Guten Abend, Lakotatexan! (perfect! Smile)
Yes, the southern part of G is very nice. Well- I am living in the northern part... Germans love Americans. They are always welcome.
Funny- I love the US more than G. Maybe because I am a bit like an exot here, people sometimes are treating me like...anyway. But I love my job here, got two good friends, my children are here... Otherwise I would have left G - maybe I will some day...
Have a nice weekend! Schönes Wochenende!
Silvia
