Okay, scaring up a skeleton here in a family member's closet (sorry aunt, but I have to know the truth).
It turns out that my Grandmother supposedly had "headright papers" that were destroyed by one of my aunts after Grandmother died so that people wouldn't find out she was Indian. I just found this out from my stepmother tonight. I've never heard of "headright papers." Does anyone know how I can go down this rabbit hole? This might be massive, or it might just a foot deep. Here we go...

How do you see more info on the names, I found my relatives names? Not sure at the moment, it all takes time to discover the past history info for NAs.
