There are times I've placed polished bloodstone around the prayer circle, at 4 directions ans 2 spaces between each of the 4 winds, equals 12 stones.

If i happen to find out anything, ill post here Try a Google search for Bloodstone Jasper. Wikipediaen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliotrope_%28mineral%29A heliotrope, also known as a bloodstone. General Category Mineral Formula (repeating unit) SiO2 (silicon dioxide) Identification Color Green with red or yellow spots Crystal system Trigonal Mohs scale hardness 6.5–7 Luster Vitreous Specific gravity 2.61 Refractive index 1.53–1.54 Birefringence 0.004 "The mineral heliotrope, also known as bloodstone, is a form of chalcedony (which is a cryptocrystalline mixture of quartz and its monoclinic polymorph moganite). The "classic" bloodstone is green chalcedony with red inclusions of iron oxide or red jasper. Sometimes the inclusions are yellow, in which case the mineral is given the name plasma."

The box that holds this stone tells who its from. The sad thing is my cousin was about to throw the box with stone out. She didnt see the writing and was gonna let me look at it before the toss. Once we saw the writing and the type of stone, its not going anywhere. She is happy i asked her about it.
