All kinds of tools and instruments, have been made by Native Americans. Back during some time in the mid 1990s, took a trip to state of New Mexico. In the north part you find in shops a lot of things made by American Indian artists. One place in particular, had an open air but enclosed by a large wall, these many shop you could walk around to browse things. A shop there had all types of ceremonial instruments and clay smudging pipes, jewelry, etc. Another shop I didn't take time to go inside, had a stand rack outside, it was full of at least 2 dozen wooden carved decorated staffs. These were made from either a tree branch or small sapling. The narrow end was at the bottom and widest part the top. The tops were either painted or decorated in other ways, back then some staff tops trimmed with fur. I don't think you would find any with animal fur because of animal rights activists since that time. The height probably was somewhere between waist and shoulders, all I have now is a picture of them to look at. My Internet recently has been bad, so hard to post photos now. I'm going to get a WIFI booster soon, see if that helps any. Ever since the Net Neutrality Bill which Congress passed years ago, got removed by Trump (broadband companies are able to turn the Internet into a toll road). Anyway, found a good article on Yahoo explaining why people have slow Internet with a computer on WIFI router broadband Internet. It is because of greed, they split the signal into 2 channels so your computer can't hardly get the signal. If you complain about it, they leave it alone for 2 weeks then go back to messing with the signal. It is a trick to get people to upgrade to a more expensive Internet package.

We don't have any cable or DSL lines out here. I've got a device ordered, supposed to get the signal in parts of the house which are hard to reach. We will see, it has 4 antennas on it, if that doesn't help nothing will.

My new device came and it turns out to be a type of router which sets up a 2nd WIFI cloud you connect. It is complicated to set up, no more easier than what they do setting up a router from the broadband company. A software program online is used for the basic programming. I halfway successfully got it done. Have all the LED signal lights going strong but can't connect to the 2nd WIFI cloud. The instructions say to be close to the existing router for programming, trouble shooting pages says the same thing. So, my laptop now seems to be using this device as an external antenna, ok for the moment. My Internet is speedy now and probably better than ever has been in the past. News feeds such as Yahoo or Microsoft Edge start page with fwwds, all come in fully loaded. I'll even be able to watch video again, tried 3 Twitter videos and each one played. My computer room is in a part of the house where the signal is hard to reach, but now I can enjoy good Internet again, makes me very happy.
