hi, my moms father was blackfoot. his name was Harry benbow. my fathers dad was cherokee. his name was Bonzie Robbins. Bonzie was from florida...i forget which city/town. my moms dad Harry was from south carolina, by way of sumter, st charles and mayesville. that is all i know. one thing i am sure of though is i dont need some cracker telling me i need a paper to say that i am a part of the Cherokee/Blackfoot nations. so can anyone help me. i really want to learn about my native american heritage. it is 50% of who i am. the other half is African american

Welcome! ;D Here is a link where you can search the Oklahoma "Dawes Final Rolls" of the 5 civilized tribes. Cherokees are listed there and Robbins came up for 49 names in all tribes...39 times in Cherokee only search. I didn't find Bonzie as a first name, but try other relatives of the same last name.
