Around this time of year where I live these mushrooms can be found, but you have to be very careful that you are gathering the right ones, there are poison ones also.
Mushrooms (Di Wa Li)
Gather mushrooms, wash them to get out tiny bugs. Par boil, wash again. Remove slimy part, fry in grease or butter. Butter is best to use.

We have mushrooms too. Morels also called sponge are the most popular. It's better not to gather some types if you're not expert at identification.

We have mushrooms too. Morels also called sponge are the most popular. It's better not to gather some types if you're not expert at identification. I do enjoy morels. When we make spring camp in the hills, morels are an excellent side dish for the trout we catch.

Mushrooms are the tasty to eat. Some kinds of the mushrooms are the poisonous, so we must be careful while gathering the mushrooms.

Well I love mushrooms, both prepared and raw. If I'm feeling hungry, I'll piece up some raw mushrooms and dip them in ketchup - absolutely charming. And one of my favorite meals is mushroom risotto.

Well I love mushrooms, both prepared and raw. If I'm feeling hungry, I'll piece up some raw mushrooms and dip them in ketchup - absolutely charming. And one of my favorite meals is mushroom risotto. Have never tried dipping mushrooms in ketchup before, not sure I'd like that... ;D How do you make your mushroom risotto?
